Q10006 - Does Firefly support multiple repositories?
Firefly Server supports multiple repositories. You can create unlimited repositories
using Firefly Administrator GUI. You can mount/un-mount repositories. Then you can
create projects in repositories.
The size of a repository could up to tens of gigabytes and more. Our customers
reported they have repositories over 30GBytes and still running fast.
It is a good practice to keep several reasonable sized repositories. It will be easy
to do backup. You can mount repositories on different disks. For example, if you have
two 40G hard disks in a windows machine, you can create repositories on both disks, and
have them managed by a single Firefly server.
