What's New in Firefly 3.0

Changeset Enhancement

– The natural way to go about your daily business

A development history is, in some aspect, defined by tasks. Bug fixes, feature implementations, requirement fulfillment and documentation are all part of the process. Most of these tasks involve keeping track of multiple objects with each object going through multiple changes and a developer might have to deal with multiple tasks at the same time. This can be confusing and tedious, if not annoying.

Why not organize your work by task then? With changeset in Firefly 3.0, you can put objects related to the same task into one changeset and give it a meaningful name; use multiple changesets for multiple tasks; look up related history such which files were associated certain changeset, what changes were done by whom at what time, etc; undo changes by changeset; and much more.
